Dr. Shashin K. Acharya
Dental Surgeon, BDS, MDS and Certified Implantologist.
Dr. Acharya has completed his B.D.S (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College, Pune University in the year 2014 and was awarded Best Intern of The Year award from the college for his academic and overall excellence. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he has worked as a dental surgeon and private practitioner at Varadendra Medical Centre, Daishar, Mumbai.
In the year 2019, Dr. Acharya Completed his Post-Graduation as Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S) in the branch of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge securing Highest Marks (Topper of the Batch) in the speciality, from Yenepoya Dental College, Mangalore, Karnataka.
He has won 5 national academic awards at various dental conference and bagged various prizes in non-academic events during his course of Post-Graduation as Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S).
He has national and international publication in various journals to his credits and is a life time member of Indian Dental Association.
He has been involved actively in promoting dental care and oral hygiene to the people from his Post-Graduation phase which involved organising various camps, an awareness marathon event - cancerthon and even tv shows.
For his excellence in academic and contribution to the society through various programmes and events during a Post-Graduation phase he has been awarded with the prestigious Highly Commended “Student of The Year Post Graduate (Zone A)” at Famdent excellence in dentistry Award – The Indian dental Oscar- 2019.
From 2019, Dr. Shashin K. Acharya is successfully running his own private practise at ACHARYA DENTAL CLINIC - Multispeciality Oral Health Care and Implant Centre in Malad, Mumbai.
